Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate DCDP (Demi Chef De Partie) to support daily kitchen operations, maintain food quality standards, and assist senior chefs in food preparation and service. The candidate should have good knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food presentation, and basic cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist CDP and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Prepare and cook food items as per standard recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders during service hours
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen work areas
• Follow food safety and HACCP standards at all times
• Check freshness and quality of ingredients before use
• Support in stock rotation and inventory control (FIFO method)
• Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control
• Coordinate with service staff for smooth kitchen operations
• Ensure proper storage of food items and kitchen equipment
• Assist in receiving kitchen supplies and maintaining records
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues
• Train and guide commis chefs or kitchen trainees when required
• Maintain discipline, grooming, and professional kitchen standards
• Requirements:Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel, restaurant, or resto-bar kitchen
• Knowledge of Indian, Chinese, Tandoor, Continental, or South Indian cuisine preferred
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and under pressure
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of food costing and kitchen operations
