Service Engineer (Fire Alarm And Public Address Systems)

Job Title: FAPA System Service Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Fire Alarm and Public Address (PA) Systems at client sites.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per the AMC schedule.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues related to fire alarm panels, detectors, MCPs, hooters, speakers, amplifiers, and associated equipment.
• Attend service calls and emergency breakdowns within the stipulated response time.
• Conduct periodic inspections and ensure all systems are functioning in accordance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Perform testing of fire alarm devices and PA systems and maintain detailed service records and reports.
• Coordinate with clients, site representatives, and vendors regarding maintenance activities and system performance.
• Replace defective components and ensure proper restoration of the systems after repairs.
• Prepare service reports, inspection checklists, and material requirement requests after every site visit.
• Assist in system upgrades, modifications, and expansion activities whenever required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory regulations while working at sites.
• Provide basic operational training and guidance to end users on the functioning of the installed systems.
• Maintain tools, testing instruments, and spares required for service activities.
• Support the project team during commissioning and handover of newly completed installations.
