Job Title: Third-Party Debt Collection Executive (BPO)

Location: Remote

Experience: 2–12Years (BPO Collections / Third-Party Collections)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Third-Party Debt Collection Executive with experience in the BPO industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling delinquent accounts on behalf of external clients, ensuring timely recovery while adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines. The role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle sensitive customer interactions professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle outbound calls to customers for recovery of overdue payments on behalf of clients
  • Manage third-party collection accounts across multiple portfolios (credit cards, loans, telecom, etc.)
  • Negotiate settlements, payment plans, and resolutions within client-defined policies
  • Ensure strict adherence to compliance standards such as FDCPA (for international processes) or local regulations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities in CRM systems
  • Follow up on promise-to-pay (PTP) commitments and ensure timely closure
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly collection targets and KPIs
  • Handle escalations and resolve disputes effectively
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients for account updates and reporting
  • Required Skills:Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong persuasion and objection-handling abilities
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations with professionalism
  • Knowledge of third-party collection practices and compliance
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Excel
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications

  • :Experience in International Voice process
  • Exposure to international collections (US/UK process) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks like FDCPA, HIPAA (if healthcare collections)
  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Collection efficiency and recovery rate
  • Promise-to-pay (PTP) conversion
  • Right Party Contact (RPC) rate
  • Call quality and compliance adherence
  • Client SLA adherence
