Production Manager - WIRE HARNESS

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complete production operations for Round Wire Harness manufacturing.
• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Monitor manpower planning, machine utilization, and production scheduling.
• Implement and maintain quality standards and process controls on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments for smooth production flow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce rejection, and optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, 5S, and manufacturing best practices.
• Handle production-related documentation, reports, and MIS.
• Train and guide shop floor teams to improve operational efficiency and skill development.
• Support new product development and production line setup activities when required.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Round Wire Harness manufacturing processes.
• Experience in handling production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of production planning, line balancing, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing systems.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Hands-on experience in wire harness production operations.
• Familiarity with automotive or electrical manufacturing standards will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination and team management capabilities.
