As we scale our manufacturing capabilities, we are seeking a seasoned Production Head to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and quality across our production functions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Production Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing production planning, workforce management, process optimization, and quality compliance, ensuring timely delivery of high-performance testing instruments, packaging machinery, and special-purpose machines.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven people leadership, and experience in driving productivity, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement in a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

• Lead and manage overall manufacturing operations, ensuring optimal productivity, quality, and cost control.
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with business goals and customer commitments.
• Oversee multiple production teams and supervisors to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and statutory compliance.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to support new product development and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and waste reduction.
• Monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, downtime, yield, and on-time delivery.
• Manage capacity planning, manpower optimization, and resource allocation.
• Address technical, operational, and people-related challenges proactively.
• Maintain accurate production reporting and present insights to senior management.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 12–18 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong exposure to precision equipment, packaging machinery, or special-purpose machine manufacturing.
• Proven experience in production planning, process optimization, and quality management systems.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
