Job Description

Role OverviewThe Counter Supervisor will be responsible for end-to-end management of the extension counter, including sales, staff supervision, daily operations, and customer experience. The role requires strong ownership, discipline in execution, and the ability to manage a small team while driving revenue.

  • Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Ownership

Achieve monthly retail sales targets (units + revenue)

  • Ensure high walk-in to conversion ratio
  • Drive upselling (accessories, insurance, finance)
  • Monitor daily sales pipeline and follow-ups

2. Team Supervision & Staff Management

Supervise and manage counter sales executives/support staff

  • Assign daily targets and monitor performance
  • Ensure proper grooming, discipline, and attendance
  • Train staff on:
  • Product knowledge
  • Sales pitch
  • Customer handling
  • Motivate team to achieve targets

3. Counter Operations & Maintenance

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and professional appearance of the counter at all times

  • Maintain proper bike display, branding, and visibility
  • Ensure availability of brochures, forms, and demo vehicles
  • Coordinate with main showroom for stock, test rides, and deliveries

4. Customer Experience Management

Ensure excellent customer handling at the counter

  • Step in to handle critical customers or escalations
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on inquiries and bookings
  • Build strong local reputation and word-of-mouth

5. Local Market Development

Drive local lead generation activitiesCamps, societies, market visits

  • Build relationships with:
  • Local financiers
  • Mechanics
  • Influencers/referral sources

6. Finance & Documentation

Ensure smooth coordination for loan processing and approvals

  • Verify KYC and booking documentation
  • Track booking-to-delivery cycle

7. Reporting & Control

Maintain daily reports:

  • Walk-ins
  • Leads
  • Conversions
  • Team performance
  • Share updates with management regularly
  • Track target vs achievement
  • Key Skills RequiredStrong team handling + sales skills
  • High ownership mindset (runs counter like a business)
  • Basic operational discipline (cleanliness, display, reporting)
  • Good communication and leadership ability
