Job Description
Job Title: Project Management Office (PMO) Manager
Location: Office& Site Based
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Manager to monitor and control project progress from the office. The role involves coordination with site teams, tracking execution, reviewing technical drawings, and handling project documentation, billing, and reconciliation activities. The candidate should have hands-on understanding of AutoCAD and PLS-CADD for reviewing profiles, layouts, and design outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track progress of multiple ongoing projects from the office.
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and internal departments for timely execution.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and MIS dashboards.
- Identify delays, risks, and gaps, and escalate issues proactively.
- Review engineering drawings, layouts, and profiles using AutoCAD and PLS-CADD.
- Assist in profile creation, route alignment studies, and design validation.
Project Controls & Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and trackers.
- Ensure all project documents, drawings, and reports are properly maintained and updated.
Billing & Commercial Activities:
- Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) bills and Final Bills.
- Ensure timely final bill submission with proper documentation.
- Coordinate with finance and site teams for billing approvals and closures.
Material & Cost Control:
- Perform material reconciliation (issued vs consumed vs balance).
- Track material usage and highlight variances.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores for material planning.
BOQ & Estimation:
- Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Assist in quantity take-offs from drawings and project plans.
- Support estimation and cost comparison activities.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and review meetings with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Civil preferred).
- 3–8 years of experience in PMO / project coordination / billing roles.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and PLS-CADD.
- Experience in billing, BOQ preparation, and material reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and execution processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), MS Project or similar tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and profiles.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management ability.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Transmission Line / Infrastructure / EPC projects.
- Knowledge of profile studies, route survey, and tower spotting.
- Familiarity with contractual billing and project costing.
