Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to ensure the highest standards of concrete quality across all stages—from raw material inspection to final placement at site. The role involves monitoring, testing, and maintaining quality compliance as per project specifications and industry standards.

• Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine testing of raw materials such as cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures.
• Perform concrete tests including slump test, cube casting, compressive strength testing, and workability checks.
• Monitor batching, mixing, and dispatch processes at RMC plant.
• Ensure proper documentation of all test results, reports, and quality records.
• Verify mix design implementation and suggest improvements where required.
• Coordinate with site engineers to track concrete pouring, placement, and curing practices.
• Identify quality issues (segregation, bleeding, honeycombing, etc.) and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes and project specifications.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
• Assist in audits and quality inspections.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in concrete quality control / RMC plant / construction site.
• Strong knowledge of concrete mix design and material properties.
• Familiarity with IS standards and testing procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Preferred:Experience in handling M20–M60 grade concrete.
• Knowledge of admixtures, fly ash, GGBS, and microsilica usage.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and testing procedures.
