Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed mechanical designs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and 3D models for oil & gas equipment.

Design components and systems related to pressure vessels, tanks, skids, piping structures, and oilfield equipment.

Develop and review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing documents.

Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and project teams.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, and ISO.

Support fabrication, assembly, and site installation activities.

Conduct design modifications and improvements based on project requirements.

Perform technical calculations and engineering analysis.

Support troubleshooting and technical issue resolution during project execution.

Maintain proper documentation and revision control of engineering drawings.

Participate in client meetings and technical discussions when required.

equired Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D design software.

Knowledge of pressure vessels, piping systems, and fabrication processes.

Familiarity with ASME, API, and Oil & Gas industry standards.

Ability to read and prepare technical and fabrication drawings.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and coordination abilities.
