Job Description – MIS Executive

Location: Gurgaon / Head Office

Reporting To: Manager

Role Objective

To support the Sales and Trade Marketing teams through accurate data management, analytics, reporting, and performance tracking, enabling faster decision-making and improved sales execution across regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Data Management & Reporting

 Maintain daily, weekly and monthly sales MIS reports.

 Track primary and secondary sales data across regions, states and distributors.

 Prepare sales dashboards for management reviews.

 Consolidate billing, outlet coverage and productivity data from field reporting systems.

2. Sales Performance Tracking

 Track KPIs such as sales value, productive calls, strike rate, drop size and outlet

coverage.

 Analyse region and state level performance.

 Provide daily performance summaries for leadership review.

3. Incentive & Contest Management

 Track sales incentive programs and contests.

 Calculate performance metrics such as runs, points and achievements.

 Prepare leaderboards and validate incentive calculations.

4. Distribution & Outlet Analytics

 Analyse outlet productivity and beat coverage.

 Identify distribution gaps and growth opportunities.

 Support sales teams with actionable insights.

5. Trade Scheme & Promotion Tracking

 Track performance of trade schemes and promotional campaigns.

 Analyse scheme ROI and sales uplift.

 Prepare post-campaign performance reports.

6. Data Accuracy & System Management

 Maintain clean and accurate master data for SKUs, distributors, regions and outlets.

 Coordinate with sales teams to ensure accuracy of data inputs.

Required Skills

 Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).

 Experience with Power BI / Tableau preferred.

 Ability to work with large datasets and dashboards.

 Strong analytical and numerical ability.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in MIS / Commercial MIS / Sales Analytics roles.

Experience in FMCG / Consumer Goods / Distribution-led businesses preferred.

Education

Graduate in Commerce / Business / Statistics / Engineering.

MBA (Marketing / Analytics) preferred but not mandatory.
