Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and skilled SPM Designer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing Special Purpose Machines (SPM), developing innovative machine concepts, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and ensuring smooth execution of projects from concept to manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of machine design, automation systems, and manufacturing processes.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) as per customer requirements.
• Create 2D and 3D machine designs using CAD software.
• Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Develop machine concepts, layouts, and mechanisms for automation projects.
• Coordinate with production, assembly, and procurement teams for smooth project execution.
• Select suitable mechanical components, pneumatic systems, motors, actuators, and automation parts.
• Ensure design feasibility, accuracy, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues during manufacturing and installation.
• Maintain project documentation, BOMs, and technical reports.
• Follow industry standards and safety guidelines in machine design.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of SPM machine design and industrial automation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Soildedge or similar design software.
• Good understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and team coordination abilities.
• QualificationDiploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Preferred Candidate ProfileMinimum 8–10 years of experience in SPM machine design.
• Experience in automation projects and custom machine development.
• Ability to handle projects independently from concept to execution.
• Candidate from manufacturing or industrial machinery background preferred.
