As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand their structure and functionality. The role includes designing solutions tailored to client requirements, writing and testing code to ensure quality and performance, and performing ongoing maintenance and enhancements to improve existing systems. Collaboration with different teams and managing multiple client projects are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that software components meet the desired standards and operate efficiently within the broader application environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to maintain smooth delivery.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP HANA DB Administration.
- Strong knowledge of system performance tuning and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Experience in managing SAP system installations, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Ability to monitor and optimize database and application server performance.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
