Warehouse Specialist - Agriculture & Trading

Job Purpose and Impact

Warehouse Specialist is a key role for Agriculture & Trading India and responsible for warehouse systems, procedures and service ensuring business objectives are delivered efficiently. The role requires data management, reporting & analysis, execution, vendor relationship, market intelligence, deliver SLA in Warehouse service.

Key Accountabilities

• Comply with all requirements as per applicable corporate policy and local statutory & regulatory requirements
• Work closely with commercial team understanding warehouse requirements as per business plan
• Conduct external and internal research & analyze  warehouse costs from market insights / conditions
• Plan, Fulfill and Manage warehouse services ensuring compliance to SLA with Customer & service providers
• Ensure Warehousing needs are Offered / Contracted within agreed TAT and lowest cost
• Maintain comprehensive database of warehouse services and keep track of availability & cost
• Develop strong engagement with service providers and ensure cost optimization through market intelligence and negotiation
• Engage with service providers and address areas of concerns raised by Zonal team & ensure smooth Operation
• Ensure all relevant documents are shared with respective team on time to process further and enable service / Compliance
• Independently resolve day-to-day Operational challenges and escalate high impact issues timely

Qualifications

Min Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 + years of Extensive experience in Warehouse fulfillment, contracting and management across India. MBA would be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of Agri commodity warehouse standard, locations and market.
