Senior Microsoft 365 Architect & Modern Workplace Expert (Full-Time, Remote)

Job Overview

We are a growing IT managed services provider looking for a full-time Microsoft 365 expert to lead and support advanced deployments, migrations, and optimization of modern workplace environments.

This role requires deep hands-on experience across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with the ability to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable solutions for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement end-to-end Microsoft 365 solutions

* Lead tenant-to-tenant and on-prem to cloud migrations

* Configure and manage:

  * Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

  * Exchange Online

  * SharePoint Online & OneDrive

  * Microsoft Teams (Voice, Policies, Governance)

* Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager

* Implement security & compliance frameworks:

  * Microsoft Defender suite

  * Conditional Access

  * DLP, Information Protection

* Optimize modern workplace environments

* Troubleshoot complex M365 issues across tenants

* Support automation using PowerShell / Graph API

* Work closely with internal teams and clients

Must-Have Skills & Experience

* 5+ years working with Microsoft 365 (enterprise environments)

* Strong expertise in:

  * Identity & access management (Entra ID)

  * Intune & device compliance

  * Exchange Online administration

  * SharePoint architecture & permissions

* Experience with:

  * Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity)

  * Conditional Access & Zero Trust frameworks

* Hands-on experience with migrations (cutover, hybrid, staged)

* PowerShell scripting for automation

* Solid understanding of networking basics (DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

* Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MS-101, AZ-104)

* Experience with multi-tenant MSP environments

* Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis, etc.)

* Experience integrating third-party SaaS apps with M365
