Partners with business leaders to optimize business success through HR initiatives. Investigates, mediates, and resolves employee issues. Provides coaching and counsel to managers and associates. Applies general understanding of all areas of HR management. Aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. Acts as an employee champion and change agent. Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicates needs proactively with the HR department and business management, and seeks to develop integrated solutions. Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
-Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieves goals through own work
-Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education
-May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise

-Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
