Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Picking: Read requisitions, order slips, or use barcode scanners to locate and collect the correct merchandise from inventory shelves.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damage, expiry dates, or defects before packing them.
  • Packing: Select appropriate boxes or containers, securely wrap items to prevent movement or breakage, and apply cushioning materials.
  • Labeling: Accurately print and attach shipping labels, packing slips, and delivery details.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts, restock shelves, and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Area Maintenance: Keep the workstation and warehouse aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe work environment. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
