Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and professional Relationship Manager to handle communication and build strong relationships with Engineering College Professors, Lecturers, HODs, Deans, and Academic Coordinators.
The candidate will be responsible for connecting with faculty members, understanding academic and research requirements, promoting company services, and maintaining long-term institutional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect with Engineering College Professors, Lecturers, HODs, and Academic Coordinators
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleges and faculty members
- Explain company services related to research, publications, patents, internships, FDPs, workshops, placements, and academic support
- Schedule meetings, presentations, and demo sessions with faculty members
- Coordinate with internal technical teams for smooth execution of client requirements
- Follow up with colleges regarding proposals, collaborations, and ongoing projects
- Generate institutional leads and convert them into long-term collaborations
- Maintain proper records of faculty interactions and client updates
- Achieve monthly targets related to institutional tie-ups and academic services
- Represent the company professionally during calls, meetings, seminars, and educational events
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Confidence in speaking with Professors, HODs, and management teams
- Basic understanding of engineering education and academic processes
- Good follow-up and coordination skills
- Ability to work on targets and deadlines
Qualification:
- Any Bachelor’s Degree
- MBA / Marketing background preferred
Experience:
- 2–5 years in EdTech, Academic Sales, Institutional Sales, or Client Relationship Management
- Experience handling Engineering Colleges is preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Fluent in English and regional language
- Professional communication skills
- Strong networking ability with academic professionals
- Positive attitude and self-motivated personality
