Retail Team Leader

The Team Leader – Retail Store is responsible for driving daily store operations, leading the sales team, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving store sales targets at The Organic World. This role ensures product availability, staff productivity, compliance with company standards, and a superior organic shopping experience.

• Key ResponsibilitiesStore OperationsSupport the Store Manager in daily retail operations
• Ensure store hygiene, visual merchandising, and product displays meet brand standards
• Monitor stock levels, replenishment, FIFO, and expiry management (critical for organic products)
• Ensure billing accuracy and smooth POS operations
• Team ManagementLead, motivate, and supervise store associates
• Assign daily tasks, shifts, and responsibilities
• Train new hires on product knowledge, customer handling, and SOPs
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and grooming standards
• Sales & Customer ExperienceDrive store sales and achieve daily/monthly targets
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer queries or complaints
• Promote organic products, offers, and loyalty programs
• Upsell and cross-sell based on customer needs
• Inventory & Loss PreventionAssist in stock counts, audits, and shrinkage control
• Ensure proper storage of organic and perishable products
• Report damaged, expired, or slow-moving stock
• Compliance & ReportingFollow company policies, food safety norms, and FSSAI guidelines
• Ensure cash handling and end-of-day processes are accurate
• Share daily sales reports and operational updates with Store Manager
