Senior Accountant

Role Overview

Royal Mart is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial accounting, compliance, and reporting functions. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate books of accounts, timely statutory filings, and strong financial controls to support the company’s growing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts including ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST, TDS, and statutory compliance including filings and returns
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and vendor payments
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure timely invoicing, receivables, and payables management
• Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good understanding of financial reporting and audits
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Preferred QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) or equivalent
• Experience in retail, FMCG, or trading businesses is a plus
