Accounts and Finance Executive

Industry: Customs House Agent (CHA), Freight Forwarding & Logistics Experience: 2–5 Years Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) Preferred Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities in a CHA and Logistics environment. The candidate should have knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, vendor payments, customer billing, and reconciliation processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP. Generate customer invoices for Customs Clearance, Transportation, Warehousing, Freight, and other logistics services. Process vendor bills and payment vouchers. Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Follow up with customers for outstanding payments. Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation. Prepare GST working, TDS calculations, and assist in statutory compliance. Maintain records of shipping bills, customs documents, and logistics-related financial transactions. Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for billing and cost verification. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing activities. Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial data. Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounts records. Required Skills Good knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting principles. Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation. Experience in CHA, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or Transportation industry preferred. Strong communication and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good analytical and reconciliation skills. Salary As per industry standards and candidate experience. Preferred Candidate Profile Experience in Customs Clearance / CHA Billing. Knowledge of logistics operational billing.
