Job Description

Job Title: BDM – Interior Sales

Job Location:- Mulund, Mumbai


Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to manage the complete sales lifecycle for residential interior projects — from lead generation and client consultation to proposal submission and deal closure. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with design and execution teams to ensure a seamless and premium client experience.


Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Sales

  • Handle incoming inquiries and convert leads into residential interior projects.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand requirements, design preferences, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide consultative guidance and recommend suitable interior design solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure long-term engagement.

Proposal, BOQ & Costing

  • Prepare accurate quotations, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), proposals, and project cost estimates.
  • Ensure pricing, project scope, and deliverables are aligned with client expectations and company standards.
  • Coordinate internally for project feasibility and costing approvals.

Coordination & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with design and project execution teams for concept discussions and project planning.
  • Participate in client presentations, design discussions, site visits, and follow-up meetings.
  • Ensure smooth project handover to the execution team post-sales closure.

Relationship Management

  • Maintain professional and consistent communication with clients throughout the sales cycle.
  • Deliver high standards of customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Generate repeat business and client referrals through relationship building.

Sales Performance & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Manage the complete sales pipeline with timely follow-ups and closures.
  • Track leads, opportunities, and sales activities through CRM systems.
  • Submit regular sales reports and pipeline updates to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Lead conversion ratio
  • Revenue target achievement
  • Average project closure timeline
  • Client satisfaction and referral generation
  • Accuracy of quotations and proposals
  • Coordination efficiency with internal teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Interior Design, Interior Fit-out, Architecture, or Real Estate Sales (Mandatory).
  • Strong experience in residential interior project sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to independently manage client meetings and close deals.
  • Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, layouts, and design concepts preferred.
  • Experience preparing quotations, BOQs, and project proposals.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
