Job Title

Solar Sales & Marketing Executive (B2C)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Solar Sales & Marketing Executive to generate residential solar panel sales by meeting homeowners, explaining solar solutions, and closing deals. The candidate should be comfortable with field sales, lead generation, customer interaction, and achieving monthly targets.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Generate leads through field visits, references, social media, campaigns, and local marketing activities.
  • Meet residential customers and explain rooftop solar solutions.
  • Conduct door-to-door or society-level marketing activities.
  • Follow up with interested customers and convert leads into sales.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and revenue goals.

Customer Consultation

  • Understand customer electricity usage and recommend suitable solar systems.
  • Explain:
  • Cost savings
  • Government subsidies
  • Return on investment (ROI)
  • Net metering benefits
  • Installation process
  • Prepare and share quotations with customers.

Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers before and after installation.
  • Coordinate with installation and technical teams for smooth project execution.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.

Market Activities

  • Participate in local events, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns.
  • Identify new market opportunities and competitor activities.
  • Promote company brand in residential areas.

Reporting

  • Maintain daily sales reports and customer data in CRM/Excel.
  • Share weekly performance updates with management.


Required Skills

Technical & Sales Skills

  • Basic knowledge of rooftop solar systems.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
  • Lead conversion and customer handling skills.
  • Field marketing and direct sales experience preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Confident and energetic personality.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work independently.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Electrical, or related field.
  • 1–3 years experience in B2C sales, preferably solar, electrical, real estate, insurance, or telecom.
  • Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in rooftop solar sales.
  • Knowledge of government solar subsidy schemes.
  • Experience with field sales or direct customer acquisition.


Salary Structure Example

  • Fixed Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000/month
