Job Title: Additive Manufacturing Engineer – Dental Aligners Location: New Delhi, India Industry: Dental Technology / Healthcare Manufacturing Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative dental technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing 3D printing processes specifically for the production of dental aligners. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, quality control, equipment management, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Process Development & Optimization • Develop and refine additive manufacturing processes for aligner production. • Select appropriate materials and optimize printing parameters and post processing techniques. Quality Control & Assurance • Ensure consistent quality and dimensional accuracy of printed aligners. • Implement and monitor quality control protocols and testing procedures. • Track and evaluate key process parameters and outputs. Equipment Management • Operate, maintain, and calibrate 3D printing equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime. Material Management • Work with various materials used in aligner production, focusing on compatibility and performance. • Stay updated on new materials and innovations in dental additive manufacturing. Production Planning & Management • Plan and manage production schedules, including material procurement and resource allocation. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and timelines. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement • Identify and analyze issues in the manufacturing process. • Implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain detailed and accurate records of process settings, quality checks, and performance data. • Generate reports to support production planning and quality assurance efforts. Requirements: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Experience: • 0-1 years of experience in additive manufacturing, preferably in the dental or medical device industry. • Hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies and equipment is highly desirable. Skills: • In-depth knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques and materials (especially thermoplastic resins). • Familiarity with aligner design and dental manufacturing processes. • Proficient in 3D printing software, quality control tools, and data analysis. • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and project management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Location: • Must be familiar with the New Delhi region and able to work at our designated manufacturing facility. Preferred Knowledge: • Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to dental devices. • Experience with automated production workflows and digital manufacturing platforms.
