Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Clerk to support our office operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our administrative department, ensuring that documentation is processed correctly, files are maintained, and daily office tasks are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with strong multitasking abilities and a high level of integrity in handling sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Assist senior clerks and management with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, mailing, and supply management.
- Document Processing: Prepare, proofread, and format formal letters, reports, and financial documents.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update digital and physical filing systems to ensure information is organized and secure.
- Data Entry: Input information into spreadsheets and internal databases with a high degree of accuracy.
- Front Office Duties: Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and redirect inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Compliance: Ensure all clerical tasks are performed in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an office or clerical environment is preferred.
- Professionalism: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor.
