Job Title: Dessert Café Chef / Kitchen Assistant

Location: Shalimar Bagh, Delhi

Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹16,000 (based on skills & experience)

Experience Required: Minimum 6 months in baking / dessert kitchen

About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and hardworking Dessert Café Chef / Kitchen Assistant to join our growing team. If you enjoy baking, working in a fast-paced café environment, and creating high-quality desserts, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake desserts such as brownies, sponge cakes, and other café items
• Assist in daily kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation and baking processes
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all desserts
• Manage inventory of ingredients and report low stock on time
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all food items
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen as per food safety standards
• Support order management and basic POS (billing system) operations
• Assist in packaging and dispatching orders efficiently
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience in baking or working in a dessert/bakery kitchen
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques (cakes, brownies, sponge, etc.)
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
