• Assess Nutritional Needs: Evaluate the nutritional status of TB and diabetic patients based on medical history, laboratory reports, and current health condition.
• Create Personalized Diet Plans: Develop individualized diet plans that support TB recovery, immunity improvement, and blood sugar control.
• Patient Counseling: Provide dietary counseling and education to patients and their families on proper nutrition, meal timing, and lifestyle changes required for TB and diabetes management.
• Monitor Patient Progress: Regularly track patient weight, blood sugar levels, and recovery progress, and modify diet plans accordingly.
• Support Treatment Outcomes: Work closely with doctors and medical staff to ensure the patient’s diet supports medication effectiveness and faster recovery.
• Educate on Food Choices: Guide patients on healthy food options, portion control, and foods to avoid, especially regarding high sugar, processed foods, and nutrition deficiencies.
• Maintain Patient Records: Keep proper documentation of diet plans, counseling sessions, and patient progress for follow-up and treatment evaluation.
• Awareness and Prevention: Conduct nutrition awareness sessions for TB and diabetes patients to promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
