Fashion Designer

About the Role Palms Theory is looking for a highly creative Fashion Designer with a strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fashion development. The ideal candidate should be able to take concepts from inspiration to final production while maintaining our premium design standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign seasonal collections aligned with the Palms Theory brand identity.
• Create original fashion concepts, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Develop innovative garment designs with a luxury aesthetic.
• Create and modify garment patterns for production.
• Select fabrics, trims, embellishments, sequins, crystals, and accessories suitable for each collection.
• Work closely with tailors and sampling teams to ensure accurate garment construction.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary pattern and design adjustments.
• Prepare detailed tech packs and measurement specifications.
• Research global fashion trends, runway collections, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes.
• Ensure all designs are production-ready while maintaining premium quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to solve construction and fitting challenges.
• Develop creative concepts for limited-edition and exclusive collections.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of pattern making and garment construction.
• Excellent fashion illustration and sketching skills.
• Creative thinking with the ability to develop original designs.
• Knowledge of women's western wear, evening wear, occasion wear, and luxury fashion.
• Understanding of fabric behavior, draping, embroidery, embellishments, and finishing techniques.
• Experience in creating tech packs and production specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple collections simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
