Continental Cook

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook continental dishes such as pasta, burgers, sandwiches, grilled items, sauces, breakfasts, salads, and baked savory items
• Ensure food quality, taste consistency, and presentation standards
• Perform mise en place and prep work before service hours
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards
• Monitor stock levels and inform management about inventory requirements
• Properly store ingredients and manage food wastage
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Coordinate with kitchen staff during service for smooth operations
• Assist in menu development and introducing new dishes when required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of continental cooking techniques and cuisines
• Understanding of sauces, grilling, sautéing, baking, and plating
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good time management and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Team player with discipline and consistency
• Have a passion for presentation and premium food quality
• Understand modern café culture and continental comfort food
• Can maintain consistency in taste and appearance
• Are creative with flavors and plating aesthetics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in culinary arts/hotel management
• Previous experience in cafés, restaurants, hotels, or cloud kitchens
• Knowledge of breakfast menus, café-style food, and modern plating
• Experience with premium ingredients and international cuisine

Working Conditions:
