Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calling: Make high-volume outbound calls to customers regarding pending EMIs, credit card bills, or loan installments.
  • Negotiation & Settlements: Persuade and assist customers in finding mutually beneficial solutions to clear their dues, such as setting up promise-to-pay (PTP) dates or restructuring repayment plans.
  • Customer Support: Listen to and resolve billing disputes or concerns professionally without resorting to aggressive or unethical tactics.
  • Record Keeping: Update call logs, payment statuses, and customer information in CRM software or databases.
  • Compliance: Adhere to fair debt collection practices and guidelines to protect the company's reputation and ensure legal compliance

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 0–10 years in tele-collection, debt recovery, or a BPO voice process, preferably with NBFC or Banking experience preferred
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, active listening, and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Language: Strong proficiency in local languages (e.g., Hindi, English, Telugu, or Tamil) depending on the process.
  • Certification: Many processes in the financial sector require a Debt Recovery Agent (DRA) certification
