Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop 2D and 3D design concepts using advanced CAD software, including SolidWorks and Solid Edge for SPM .
  • Create detailed drawings, assemblies, and models for manufacturing feasibility and precision for machines.
  • Design hydraulic and pneumatic systems for machines, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency in operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, prototype, and refine machine designs from initial concept to production.
  • Perform simulations, tolerance analysis, and design validations to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Support assembly automation projects, incorporating best practices for manufacturability and cost optimisation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in 3D CAD design with proficiency in SolidWorks and Solid Edge (certifications preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of 2D/3D drafting, GD&T, and parametric modelling.
  • Expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems design for industrial machines and operations.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, FEA tools, and automation integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Bonus: Experience with automation software, PLM tools, or industry standards like ISO.
