Job Description
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations: invoicing, receipts, payments, and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS statements
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations
- Track and analyze revenue, commissions, and deductions from online channel partners (marketplaces/e-commerce platforms)
- Crunch large datasets from online sales channels to identify trends, discrepancies, and profitability insights
- Generate channel-wise performance reports and support decision-making with data-driven analysis
- Monitor receivables and ensure timely collections from partners
- Handle GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to queries
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, e-commerce) for financial alignment
- Maintain and update product catalogue data (pricing, SKUs, tax codes, descriptions) across systems/platforms
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of catalogue information across online channels
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Identify process improvements and implement controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Other accounts & reports related tasks, as required
