Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Azure Cloud & Devops Engineer to join our engineering team responsible for managing and maintaining our applications hosted in the Azure cloud environment. As an Azure Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions to meet the business requirements and industry best practices. 

>> Role & Responsibilities

 

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Manage and monitor Azure cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and other platform services.
• Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (AD) services, identity and access management, and role-based access control (RBAC) policies.
• Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration processes for critical applications and databases.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and recommend necessary optimizations for cost efficiency and performance improvements.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and services.
• Implement security measures, including network security groups, firewalls, and encryption, to safeguard data and comply with industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with Azure updates, new features, and industry best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Assist in capacity planning and scaling of Azure resources to accommodate business growth and changing demands.
• Worked as Azure DevOps Infrastructure Engineer.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
• Implemented CI/CD methodologies using Azure DevOps.
• Identify how static code analysis will be handled for the purposes of software vulnerabilities and how static code analysis will be handled for the purposes of software licensing (i.e. Fortify)
• Terraform scripting for provisioning Azure cloud environments.
• Used terraform modules for reusability and efficiency.
• Good to have Skilled in micro-services architecture and Docker containerization.
• Configured and created Docker images and containers for different environments.

• A minimum of 5-8 years of work experience 
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer in a similar cloud administration role.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, networking concepts, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g.,  Terraform, PowerShell, Python) for automation and orchestration tasks.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools to analyze cloud performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and implementation.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-400) .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 
• Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures. 
• Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures.
• Experience as an application systems administrator, general system administration experience

• Graduate Degree from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 institute.
• Knowledge of advanced ITIL or similar IT best practice methodology
