• The Senior Engineer – Triple A Expert will contribute deep Triple A expertise within an Agile delivery squad. The role focuses on hands-on development, solution quality, and strong application of Continuous Integration tools and practices in support of Deutsche Bank’s digitalisation journey

Your key responsibilities

• Design, review, and propose technical solutions to address user stories and assigned tasks 
• Develop, unit test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions 
• Actively participate in Agile squad ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint events 
• Contribute to Dev Chapter activities and support chapter-level initiatives 
• Apply Continuous Integration best practices, including source control management, build automation, unit testing, and dependency management 
• Collaborate closely with squad members to achieve Sprint and Squad objectives 
• Maintain accurate progress updates in Agile delivery tools such as JIRA and Confluence 
• Manage individual task prioritisation and deliverables effectively 
• Take accountability for the quality and stability of solutions delivered 
• Contribute to planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities 
• Support the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Scrum Master 

Your skills and experience

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in development, scripting, and configuration using Triple A 
• Strong experience with Sybase (SQL development) 
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and Sybase databases 
• Experience supporting and guiding teams through Sybase to PostgreSQL migration 
• Actuate report design experience 
• Strong understanding of the Triple A data model and architecture 
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux scripting and command-line tools 
• Experience with IBM WebSphere TX/IX (Mercator) 
• Experience with Reporting Maestro 
• Solid experience working in Agile / SCRUM delivery environments 
• Experience working with distributed and multi-location teams 
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence 
• Knowledge of Agile practices including User Stories, ATDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, and Automated Testing 
• Strong alignment with Agile values including Focus, Respect, Openness, Commitment, and Courage (FROCC) 
• Effective communication skills 
• Proactive and collaborative team-oriented mindset 
• Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organised teams 
• Professional proficiency in English
