"Job Description: Sr. Test Engineer – Virtual Account Management (VAM) Location: India (Global Delivery Center) Industry: Corporate Banking / Payments / FinTech Experience: 4–6 Years Role Objective As a Sr. Test Engineer for Virtual Account Management (VAM), you will play a critical role in validating the end-to-end implementation of the Mindgate VAM solution. This project involves a complex integration between the Finastra Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) front-end and the Finastra Equation core banking backend. You will be responsible for ensuring that corporate clients can effectively manage their liquidity through virtual account hierarchies, shadow accounting, and real-time reconciliation engines. Key Responsibilities 1. VAM Functional Validation • Execute comprehensive functional testing of the Mindgate VAM platform, focusing on: o Virtual Account Hierarchy: Creation and management of complex multi-tier structures (Parent-Child accounts). o Shadow Accounting: Ensuring virtual balances and transactions are accurately tracked independently of the physical header account. o In-house Banking: Validating internal transfers, inter-company lending, and interest calculation logic within the virtual pool. o Real-time Reconciliation: Testing automated matching of incoming payments (Virtual IBANs) to specific virtual accounts. 2. Integration & Core Banking Alignment • Validate the seamless flow of data between the Finastra CIB portal (Front-end), Mindgate VAM (Middleware), and Finastra Equation (Core Banking). • Verify that ""Physical-to-Virtual"" (P2V) and ""Virtual-to-Physical"" (V2P) posting rules in Equation are executed without data loss or balance mismatch. • Test the accuracy of transaction mirroring and sweep instructions triggered by the VAM engine into the core ledger. 3. Payments & Reporting • Validate incoming and outgoing payment flows using Virtual IBANs and their routing through regional clearing systems and SWIFT. • Test the generation of virtual acJob role
