Role Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to handle end-to-end electrical execution of EV charging infrastructure projects, including power distribution, charger installation, commissioning, and testing.

The role requires strong on-site execution capability, coordination with civil teams, and ensuring safe, compliant, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Execution (Core Role)

• Installation of DC Fast Chargers (CCS2) and AC chargers
• Execution of LT panels, MCCB, cabling, earthing, and termination
• Transformer / feeder integration (where applicable)
• Cable laying, routing, glanding, and dressing

2. Commissioning & Testing

• Pre-commissioning checks and electrical testing
• Charger commissioning & functional testing
• Coordination with OEM / software team for integration
• Ensuring site readiness and energization

3. Project Coordination

• Work closely with civil team for site readiness
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and OEMs
• Interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and layouts
• Ensure material planning and site execution sequence

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards
• Maintain proper earthing, protection systems, and load balance
• Follow site safety protocols and documentation
• Ensure compliance with DISCOM and regulatory requirements

5. Site Management & Reporting

• Handle multiple project sites (travel required)
• Track daily progress and timelines
• Troubleshoot site issues quickly
• Maintain execution reports and commissioning records

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 2–6 years experience in electrical / EPC / infrastructure projects
• Hands-on experience in:
• LT panels, MCCB, cabling
• Electrical installations and site execution
• Testing & commissioning

Preferred Experience (Highly Valuable)

• EV charger installation & commissioning
• Experience with DC fast charging (30 kW – 360 kW)
• Work with CCS2 chargers
• Industrial / infrastructure project experience

Location
