Housekeeping Supervisor - Anjuna, Goa Qualification: Graduate Experience: 2+ yrs Salary: upto 25 K No Food and Accomomdation is provided. Candidate needs to have a bike and a valid Driving License. Duties & Responsibilities Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of villas, gardens, seating areas, washrooms, suites, and all public spaces.  Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff.  Daily supervision of the grounds keeping staff.  Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.  Conduct daily inspections of all rooms and public areas.  Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.  Determine and maintain the department work schedule used to notify staff of upcoming events and ensure proper preparation and staffing.  Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.  Work closely with maintenance team to ensure all services, engineering, appliances are in perfect working condition.  Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.  Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.  Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.  Evaluates records to forecast department personnel requirements.  Prepares reports concerning room occupancy and expenses  Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage. Examines all the homes to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management. The main objective is to make sure all villas are served properly.  Clients are taken care in the most professional manner.  Coordinating cleaning activities at the villas with both in-house staff and on contract cleaning agencies.  Managing staff roster.  Interviewing, hiring and firing housekeeping staff.  Training Staff & Recruitment of HK Staff  Handling Grievances Skills Required  Excellent communication skills  Can handle VIP and Celebrity Guest  Well-presented, polite and tactful  Can handle complaints in a calm manner  Excellent people handling skills  Good organizational skills  Previous experience managing a team of housekeeping employees through motivation, coaching and development.  The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitasking  Working knowledge of rooms management systems.  Advanced knowledge of Housekeeping process and procedures.  Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.  Ability to maintain a budget  Proven excellence in customer service.  Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, associates, and clientele, both inside and outside of the organization.
