Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The Chef will be responsible for creating visually appealing dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Candidate will be undergoing vigorous training at our training centre.
Responsibilities:
1. ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
2. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and instruction as needed to ensure efficient and effective operations.
3. ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards at all times.
5. Menu concepts, taking into account customer preferences and feedback. Collaborate with management and following our rules and regulations
6. Stay informed about industry trends and developments, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
7. Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies that may arise, demonstrating quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Proven Fresher or Experience working as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training and experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional passion for food, demonstrated through innovative menu development and presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a dedication to excellence in all aspects of the culinary experience.
