Job Title: Junior Credit Associate / Senior Credit Officer (NBFC)

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Officer with strong NBFC exposure to manage end-to-end credit underwriting, risk assessment, and portfolio quality. The role requires sound judgment in credit decisions and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite loan proposals (secured/unsecured) including personal, business, and LAP
• Analyze financial statements, bank statements, cash flow, and repayment capacity
• Review credit bureau reports and assess customer risk profile
• Approve/recommend loan cases within delegated authority limits
• Develop and enforce credit policies aligned with RBI regulations
• Monitor portfolio performance, NPAs, and early warning signals
• Guide and review work of junior credit associates
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and collections teams
• Ensure compliance with internal audit and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in NBFC/banking credit underwriting
• Strong knowledge of RBI norms and NBFC regulatory framework
• Expertise in financial analysis and risk assessment
• Experience in handling secured and unsecured loan products
• Advanced MS Excel and credit evaluation tools knowledge
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
