Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience of 3+ years in DB2 DBA
• In-depth knowledge of DB2 database architecture, features, and utilities.
• Strong SQL programming skills and experience with SQL tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques, including backup tools and recovery strategies.
• Proficiency in database security concepts and implementation.
• Experience with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DB2 Database Administrator or similar role.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• experience with specific versions of DB2 (e.g., DB2 LUW, DB2 z/OS).
• Knowledge on various cloud technologies like AWS,Azure,GCP etc.
• Knowledge of database replication and high availability solutions.
• Familiarity with database migration and data integration tools.
• Experience with other database platforms and technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• Understanding of cloud-based database services and deployment models (e.g., IBM Db2 on Cloud, Amazon RDS for DB2).
• Certification in IBM DB2 administration (optional but preferred).
