Job Description

  • Take ownership of all AMS support issues in various Java applications as a Support Developer
  • Sound knowledge of Java technologies and SQL
  • Good understanding of unit testing methodologies
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Maintain relationships with key project stakeholders, IT, and Business teams to understand application issues
  • Resolve incidents reported from application users as per SLA defined for various priorities (P1/P2/P3/P4/P5)
  • Work on Business Service Requests for changes needed
  • Analyze requirements from Business on minor enhancements and propose solutions within the support scope
  • Identify repetitive production issues and investigate for permanent resolutions
  • Coordinate with the Development team on various project deployments and knowledge transitions
  • Participate in daily and weekly operational meetings with Business and IT support teams
  • As a lead, coordinate with all team members offshore to resolve priority issues and avoid business impact
  • Able to lead and drive customer meetings on priority issues related to major incidents impacting business
