Job Description : Security Analyst, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) at Bangalore

Responsibilities:

This role will be primarily responsible for the daily monitoring and/or maintenance of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. The main duties will include

 Monitor s generated from the DLP systems and other technologies

 Understand and follow the incident response processes

 Respond to escalations by the Incident Response Team

 Identifying and reducing false positives and false negatives

 Interface with IT Operations, Network Operations, Infrastructure teams, etc.

 Support administration of the DLP tools which includes configuring and fine-tuning policies

 Ensuring SLAs if any and timely delivery of management reports

 Owning & ensuring currency of DLP Operation related policies, procedures and Operation manuals.

Skills Required:

 Working knowledge of DLP tools

 Ability to acquire meaningful business information out of s from DLP, in situations able to directly work on the target device events and correlate.

 Exposure to Security Incident Management Processes

 Understanding of technology controls related to Information Security.

 Basic knowledge of ISO27001 and other information security standards/practices

 Attitude to learn and develop, having a record of continuous professional development

Experience required:

Totally 2-4 years’ experience in the area of Information Security and at least 1 year of experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Event monitoring/Handling

Qualification:

 Graduate / Diploma holder (Full time)/Engineer

 Full-time work experience in information security management and/or related functions (such as IT audit and IT Risk Management).

Key pre-requisites:

 One or more of following Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, Security+ and any DLP product related certification would be an added advantage.
