Data Modeler

Location: Off Shore

Who are we looking for?

Looking for an experienced Data Modeler who can work with Business and understand the requirements. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Technical Skills:

 Interact with users to gather business requirements for BI projects and enhancements

 Design data architecture for BI projects and enhancements

 Experience in Data Engineering - Data Modeler

 Experience in Database – Data Modeling / Data Engineering

 Experience in Data Engineering – Microsoft T-SQL Development

 Create EDW business data models and business rules for all EDW environments

 Create data definitions, models and access views

 Create BO Universe Structures

 Definition of data synchronization and acquisition rules

 Definition of data quality and validation rules

 Define Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes

 Ensure data access optimization

 Supply high level and detail estimates for enhancements/projects

Experience in Data Profiling

 Experience with DW/BI methods.

 Knowledge of Data dimensional and relational modeling techniques and tools (Erwin)

 SQL and Data Profiling Knowledge

 Experience in Business Objects Universe Design & Report Construction

 Expertise with DB2, ORACLE, UDB, Netezza, SQL Server or other database management systems

 Knowledge of database – Data Modelling / Data Engineering

 Knowledge of Data Engineering – Microsoft T-SQL Development / SQL coding

 Specific job experience in business intelligence or data warehouse environment an asset

 Excellent communication of both written and spoken English.
