Skill Set

Ø  Over 7 years of experience in ETL tools and technologies, suggesting a deep understanding of the field and its evolution over time.

Ø  proficiency in using Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC

Ø  Experience and exposure to contemporary cloud-based integration solutions like Azure Data Factory (ADF), demonstrating adaptability to newer technologies and platforms.

Ø  Experience in upgrading and migrating ETL code between different ETL platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance.

Ø  Strong understanding of the core architectural components and design aspects of ETL processes, for designing efficient and scalable data integration solutions.

Ø  Practical experience in implementing ETL tools and designing solutions, translation of conceptual designs into functional systems.

Ø  Knowledge of enterprise architecture and how ETL processes integrate with various IT systems and strategies.

Ø  Knowledge in any automation tools or scripts that can assist in converting code between the two ETL platforms.

Ø  Experience with Informatica data validation tool and process.

Ø  Experience in one of the Orchestration tools like Control-M and Redwood

Roles and Responsibilities

Ø  Understand how the current ETL processes operate, including the sources, transformations, and destinations of the data.

Ø  Match the data structures, formats, and transformations used in the current ETL processes to their counterparts in the target tool.

Ø  Find & Use automation tools or scripts that can help in converting code between the two ETL platforms.

Ø  Identify any differences or problems in data mapping and plan for their solutions.

Ø  Plan and execute the rollout of the migrated ETL processes into the production environment.

ØMonitor & optimize performance and stability of the ETL systems.

Ø  Define the criteria and guidelines for the best practices on system maintenance, code development of data integration & improvement.

Ø  Responsible for platform upgrades and migrations.

Ø  Lead the execution of data validation process with the appropriate selection of success criteria

Ø  Use expertise in enterprise applications, solutions to evaluate complex, critical business issues and design technical solutions for integration requirements.

Ø  Responsible to create technical and architectural artifacts for integration platforms and solutions.

Ø  Collaborate with cross Infrastructure, network, and Database teams for new solutions and to resolve the critical technical issues.

Collaborate with the relevant project stakeholders and assist in choosing suitable ETL tools that match their need.
