Swimming Coach

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Swim Coach located in Bengaluru. The Head Swim Coach will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the swimming pool, including swim instruction, swim lessons, lifeguarding, and aquatics. The Head Swim Coach will also be responsible for executing Michael Phelps Swimming training plans, leading practices, and coordinating swim meets.

Qualifications

• Experience in swim instruction, swimming, or swim lessons
• Knowledge of lifeguarding and aquatics
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• An ability to motivate and inspire swimmers
• Experience in coaching at competitive levels
• A willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Recreation, or related field

1. Roles and Responsibilities:Lead and oversee all aspects of the swim program, including program development, coaching, and administration.
2. Develop comprehensive swimming programs for customers of all ages and skill levels, ensuring progressive skill development and achievement of goals.
3. Provide high-level swim instruction and coaching to customers, setting the standard for technique and performance.
4. Assess and evaluate swimmers' progress, providing individualized feedback and guidance for improvement.
5. Mentor and support the coaching staff, providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
6. Collaborate with the management team to establish program policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
7. Drive marketing and promotional efforts to attract new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
8. Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in swim coaching and instruction.
9. Represent the swim program at competitions, conferences, and community events, promoting the program's achievements and values.
10. Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the swim program, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
