Vendor Management: ● Identify the categories suitable for channel distribution and onboard the Manufacturers with the best products and prices. ● Establish standards and guidelines for Vendors and ensure the policies are being followed. ● Negotiate new and existing vendor contracts. ● Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors by communicating with them frequently to answer questions and check their satisfaction levels. People management: ● Hire and manage a team of 4-6 ● Ensure you have a motivated team working under you ● Set and monitor KPI’s Operations: ● Monitor Sales trends, noting which items are selling faster than others and write reports displaying the data. ● Ensure smooth logistics and delivery of shipments to the channel partners. ● Ensure Vendors are keeping sufficient inventory all the time ● Ensure the Vendors are displaying the products and managing up to date catalogues ● Handle refunds and consignment cancellations ● Ensuring the payouts to vendors and channel partners are made on time ● Should take informed data-driven decisions ● Manage partners to endure adherence to SLA’s ● Manage day to day issue resolution Cross-Functional Interaction: ● Work with Business teams in setting up and operationalizing B2B commerce. ● Work with IT team for product development and enhancements ● Work with Marketing team for product promotions ● Work with finance team for proper settlements
