B.E. Mechanical The role of this position is to design inspection process, monitor and audit the quality of all manufactured and bought out components / subassemblies and make sure they meet specified standards. This role is not only to find defect but also to find cause of the defect and develop solution helping in on time delivery of components / subassemblies for integrating the system • Read and understand engineering drawing and specifications, • Understanding sub assembly related criticalities and incorporate the same in inspection process • Design inspection procedure for machined component as criticality of machine components/drawings and assembly perspective • Understanding of GD&T used in drawings and validate the same through inspection methodology • Design validation process for surface coatings, paintings and hardening of components • Approves incoming materials by confirming specification/ inspection reports, conducting visual and measurement test, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
