• Detailed understanding of ASTM and ISO testing practices for force measuring systems and NIST calibration procedures. • Detailed knowledge of Strain Gage theory, calibration of electronic instrumentation, quality control discipline, and a working knowledge of Transducer assembly. • Working knowledge of automated calibration software procedures using various internal applications. • Must constantly strive to keep abreast of technological advances. Familiarity with the operation of both electromechanical and servo-hydraulic testing systems, and be capable of adjustment/repair of the force measuring system. • Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate/use general hand and power tools, instruments and testing apparatus common to the electronic and instrumentation fields. • Possess good mathematical skills and the ability to communicate and work in a highly effective team environment. Skilled in the used of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and Power Point). • Must be able to function effectively from verbal instruction and establish work schedules with minimal direction.
