- Primary duties include, but are not limited to - Create new product designs in close collaboration with Industrial Design, Product Management, - Engineering, Sales, Production and Quality Control teams. - Create working layouts and/ or finished drawings and/ or 3D models of components, assemblies, systems or parts from specifications, prior layouts, sketches, models, samples, 2D drawings or verbal instructions sufficient for development of Zinco's products and associated ancillaries. - Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production. - Create product renderings. - Adhere to customer expectations, volumes,timelines and commitments. - Prepare and modify catalogue drawings from existing and new products. - Maintain accurate drawing books for Production and Quality Control. - Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for existing/ new products as needed for sales staff and special drawings for plant projects. - Work with Quality Control team to learn requirements of process control, inspection and testing in production. - Review and coordinate with stakeholders in relation to the manufacturing, completeness and accuracy of the work. - Prepare/maintain accurate catalogue drawings and digital library of the product design and drawings- Autodesk vault, hard-copies and engineering documents. - Other duties as designated. Travel: Occasional. Education Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering. Experience 3-5 years in creating 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks. Fresh graduates with required skills welcome to apply. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proven experience in product design and / or experience with machining, fabrication, casting, moulding, metal stamping and assembly. Proficiency in SolidWorks version 2015 and above. Proficiency in AutoCAD version 2010 and above. DFM / DFT and experience in designing for low product cost are preferable.
