Restaurant Captain – Job Description
Role Overview:
Responsible for supervising service staff and ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations while delivering excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily floor operations
- Lead, train, and guide waitstaff for quality service
- Ensure guest satisfaction and handle complaints professionally
- Take and manage orders efficiently during service hours
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and service standards
- Coordinate with kitchen and management for smooth service flow
- Monitor staff performance and maintain discipline
- Assist in table setup, reservations, and billing when required
Key Skills:
- Strong communication and leadership skills
