Responsibilities  

Development: Design, code, test, and debug custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces (RFCs), and forms (SmartForms, SAPscript). 

Enhancements: Implement enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, and workflows. 

Performance Tuning: Optimize program and SQL performance, resolve bottlenecks, and tune complex functions 

Support: Provide operational support, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve defects (bugs). 

Collaboration: Work with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs. 

Testing: Perform unit testing, support integration testing (SIT), and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 

Documentation: Create and maintain technical specifications and documentation. 

 Best Practices: Participate in code reviews, adhere to SAP standards, and follow coding best practices.  

Essential Skills & Qualifications 

Proficiency in ABAP programming, ABAP Objects (OO ABAP). 

Understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM) and SAP architecture. 

Experience with tools like SAPGUI, Debugger, ABAP Workbench, SE38, SE80, etc.. 

Knowledge of data dictionary, performance optimization, and debugging. 

Familiarity with SAP transport management (TMS) and OSS note procedures. 

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
